Score tracker · Riichi

Score tracker flow 2

The same table as today, with a new set of buttons and a new “New hand” flow. It’s fully clickable, with real Riichi points: play a few hands, undo them, and see how it feels.

Timer

  • Timer: tap it to pause. It turns grey, shows a pause icon and flashes until you tap again. −5 and +5 change the time by five minutes.
  • Set the length: press and hold the timer. Spin hours, minutes and seconds to any length, like the phone’s own timer. There are no preset lengths.

The table: 4 buttons

  • New hand opens the hand flow below.
  • Delete last hand is an undo. It restores the table exactly as it was before the last hand, including scores, riichi sticks, honba, dealer and round. It is greyed out and disabled until a hand has been recorded.
  • End game asks for confirmation, then shows the final standings.
  • Cancel game asks for confirmation, then throws the whole game away without recording it.

Tap a name

  • Tapping a player’s card asks Declare riichi? Yes opens New hand at step 1 with that player already picked. Add anyone else, then carry on as normal.

New hand: the steps

  1. Who declared riichi? Pick several players, or nobody. Next is always allowed.
  2. What type of win? Ron or Tsumo. (Before, this came second.)
  3. Who won?
  4. Ron only: who dealt in? Tsumo skips straight to the score counter.
  5. How many han, and the fu? han and fu steppers with quick chips, and the live payout. Or tap Enter tiles (type the 14 tiles on a tile keyboard, say closed or open and the dora) or Scan tiles (photograph the hand; the prototype simulates the camera). Either one fills han and fu for you to check.
  6. Any penalties this round? a number per seat, or “No penalties, skip”. Nothing is saved before this.
  7. Round recorded every player’s change and new total: green for the winner, red for whoever paid. Continue, or Undo to put the round back as if it never happened.
  8. New round a card shows the next round and honba (dealer win: same round, honba +1; otherwise the next round, honba 0). Tap anywhere to carry on.

Draw (no winner)

  • Draw is the third choice in step 2, then “Who was tenpai?”. Noten players pay tenpai players 3.000 in total; honba goes up; riichi sticks stay on the table; the dealer keeps the deal if tenpai. (Confirmed by the owner, 2026-09-23.)
  • Drop current hand is on every step. From step 2 onwards it asks first.

Questions from the new buttons

  • Chombo has no button any more. Should it be a type in step 2, or live in the table’s ••• menu?
  • Double ron (two winners off one discard): step 3 is single-choice here. Should Ron allow picking two winners?
