Today’s flow, drawn in the new design, so you can compare it with Flow 2. It’s fully clickable, with the same real Riichi points and the same players.
Timer
Timer:tap it to pause. It turns grey, shows a pause icon and flashes until you tap again. −5 and +5 change the time by five minutes.
Set the length:press and hold the timer. Spin hours, minutes and seconds to any length, like the phone’s own timer. There are no preset lengths.
The table
Riichiis declared from the table: pick who declares, their 1.000 stick goes down straight away, and they’re marked red until the hand ends.
Chombopicks who made the error and charges a mangan penalty. The hand is replayed, and riichi sticks go back to their owners.
⚙opens the settings (not part of this prototype).
Catat menangrecords a win (steps below).
Serirecords a draw: pick who was tenpai.
End gameasks, then shows the final standings.
Urungkan(undo, in the history) takes back the last action, whether that was a win, a draw, a chombo or a riichi.
Tap a name
Tapping a player’s card asks Declare riichi? or Declare win?
Riichiputs their 1.000 stick down straight away, as the Riichi button does.
Winasks Ron or Tsumo, then carries on with the steps below with that player already picked as the winner. Ron still asks who dealt in.
Record win: the steps
Who won?
Ron or Tsumo?
Ron only: who dealt in?
How many han, and the fu?han and fu steppers with quick chips, and the live payout. Or tap Enter tiles (type the 14 tiles on a tile keyboard, say closed or open and the dora) or Scan tiles (photograph the hand; the prototype simulates the camera). Either one fills han and fu for you to check.
Any penalties this round?a number per seat, or “No penalties, skip”. Nothing is saved before this.
Round recordedevery player’s change and new total: green for the winner, red for whoever paid. Continue, or Undo to put the round back as if it never happened.
New rounda card shows the next round and honba (dealer win: same round, honba +1; otherwise the next round, honba 0). Tap anywhere to carry on.
What Flow 2 changes
Riichi moves into the hand, as step 1, instead of being its own table button.
The win type comes before the winner.
The table buttons become New hand, Delete last hand, End game and Cancel game. Chombo and Seri no longer have buttons of their own.
Undo becomes a big “Delete last hand” button that is disabled before the first hand, instead of a small link in the history.
